Description
The TIC “Plunk” Hydrochron Releasing and Setting Tool hydraulically sets and releases Wireline Memory Gauges. The Hydrochron can safely set and release the gauges in conjunction with the Collar, Tubing, and Casing Hanger. The Hydrochron also can set and release gauges in no-go restrictions or upon stops. The Hydrochron must be used in conjunction with the TIC “Plunk” Soft Sub. Wrench flats are provided and must be used to prevent distortion of inside diameters. The tool is made out of stainless steel to minimize corrosion.
• Pipe wrenches should not be used.
