### Description

 

The “W” Locking Mandrel is used in wells that are not equipped with landing nipples during completion. They are attached to the wall of the tubing and during the running procedure, its element is expanded to seal against the tubing wall. It can only hold a differential pressure from below. It can be used in conjunction with pump through plugs, regulators, safety valves, and bottom hole chokes.
